John Parker v. Offutt. Injunction

 

District of Columbia towit.

The United States of America To Offutt and George Miller, Whereas John Parker hath this day filed in the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia for the County of Washington his petition for freedom against the said Offutt [illegible] sending good causes particularly stated and set forth within said petition you the said           Offutt, and you the said George Miller you and each of your agents and servants are hereby injoined and prohibited from taking or carrying away the said John Parker out of the said County of Washington, or removing him out of the jurisdiction of this Court until the further Order of this Court in the premises. Hereof you are not to fail as you will Answer the Contrary at your peril. Witness William Cranch Esq. Chief Judge of the said Court.

Issued the 22 day of December 1815.
