To the Marshal of the District of Columbia Maryland, Greeting:
You are hereby commanded to summon Thomas Soper Charles Nevitt, John Landsbury, Simon Campbell & Enoch Campbell if they shall be found in the county of Washington your said District, that (all excuses set aside) they be and appear before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, to be now sitting held for the county of Washington, in the city of Washington, on the Friday 28th day of May Inst next to testify on the part of Rachel Shorter & others against Ann Cassanave on their petition for freedom
Hereof fail not at your peril; and have you then and there this precept.
