Joseph Wallingsford v. Sarah Ann Allen. Letters of Administration

 

Maryland Sct. To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting. Know you that on the 15th day of January Eighteen hundred and thirty six by and before Philemon Chew Register of Wills for Prince George's County & state of Maryland, duly thereto constituted & appointed for probate of wills & granting administration, according to the act of Assembly in such case made & provided Administration of all and singular the goods chattels & credits which were of the Estate of Joseph Wallingsford late of said county, deceased, were granted & committed unto James Mead of said County he having first entered into bond with sufficient sureties for the due performance of his duty as administrator, and also taken his oath well and truly to administer the same, to exhibit a true & perfect Inventory of the said goods & chattels and to render a just account of his administration when he should be thereto legally required. Witness Jno Brookes Esquire Chief Judge of the Orphans Court of said County this 15th day of January Anno Domini Eighteen hundred and thirty six
