Whereas Thomas Morris Stands charged before me the subscriber a justice of the peace for said County with being a runaway Slave and having failed to prove the Contrary
You are therefore hereby directed to receive from Thos. J. Martin Constable The body of the said Thos. and him safe Keep in your jail and Custody untill he shall be thence delivered agreeable to law
