Thomas Brown v. Nicholas Young. Summons of Nicholas Young

 

District of Columbia, to wit.

The United States of America to the Marshal of the District of Columbia, greeting.

You are hereby commanded to summon Nicholas Young, that all excuses and delays set aside, he be and appear before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia for the County of Washington, to be held at the City of Washington on the fourth Monday of December next, to answer the Petition of Nelly Brown on behalf of her son Thomas, for his freedom, in the said Court, exhibited against him. Hereof fail not at your peril, and have you then and there this writ Witness the honble William Cranch Esquire, chief Judge of our said Court the 28th day of June 1808.

Issued the 2d day of July 1808.
