To the Honorable the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia for the County of Washington
The petition of Druzilla King, an Infant under the age of Twenty one years by her mother & next friend Pricilla King, humbly sheweth unto your Honorable Court, that she is entitled to her Freedom, and is unjustly held in bondage by William Wilkinson, who claims your petitioner as his Slave, wherefore your petitioner prays the said Honorable Court to grant a subpoena directed to the said William Wilkinson and such other and further relief in the premises as may be according to Law
