To the Honble the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia for the County of Washington.
The Petition of Thomas Over & Francis Over humbly sheweth that your petitioners are free and were born of a free white woman, and are unjustly held in bondage by a certain Venerand Pulizzi of Washington County.
Wherefore they pray that subpa may be issued to said Venerand Pulizzi & that he may be compelled to appear and answer hereto. And that they may be discharged from their service and adjuged free according to Law
