The bearer hereof, Austin Triplett, is an acceptable member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, in Alexandria, D.C. He is desirous of purchasing his freedom, and has received authority from his owner to do so.
We recommend him to our friends as a proper individual to receive aid. He is an honest, industrious and pious man.
