Negroe Jacob complains of Stephen Cooke in custody &c of a plea for this that whereas on the day of in the year at Alexandria aforesaid and within the jurisdiction of this Court the said dfdt with force and arms &c an assault did make on the pltf and the said pltf did beat wound and illy beat and then and there illegally imprison for a long space of time to wit for five months and other wrongs and injuries did to this pltf against the peace of the Commonwealth and to the damage of the pltf
and therefore he sues &c.
