The Petition of Mary Jackson for herself & her two infant children Samuel & Billey, humbly sheweth that she and her children have been seized & are held in slavery by a certain Benjamin Davis and other persons to her unknown, and she and her said children is free, and she prays process against said Davis & that she be not carried out of this District.
