The Petition of Stephen Ambush a negro humbly sheweth that he hath been seized as a slave by James Robinson claiming to be the administrator of the estate of Amelia Frazier late of Washington County deceased, and appraised as part of the said Estate
He shews to your Honors, that he is free, and was duly and lawfully manumitted by the said Amelia Frazier in her life time, and he prays that his rights may be enquired into, and determined by the judgement of this Court, and your Petitioner will ever &c
