The United States of America,
To the Marshal of the District of Columbia, Greeting:

We command you that you take sum: James C. McGuire admn of Dolly P. Madison late of Washington County, if shall be found within the County of Washington in your said District, and safely keep, so that you have bod before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, to be held for the County aforesaid, at the City of Washington, on the 4th Monday of March next to answer unto the petition for Freedom of Ralph Taylor & Catherine his wife, & Henry, Sarah, John & Ellen Taylor their children &c

Hereof fail not, at your peril, and have you then and there this writ.

Witness W Cranch Esquire, Chief Judge of our said Court, at the City of Washington, the 11" day of Novr. Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and 52.
