That unless the Jury shall believe from the evidence aforesaid that the importation of the Petitioner into this District was by the Defendant without[?] his consent, the Petitioner is not entitled to recover upon the ground of unlawful importation
That there is no evidence before the Jury from which they can infer an [illegible] on the part of the Defendant to sell the Petitioner in violation of the will of Constance Cornwall.
