The humble Petition of Amey Overton sheweth that your petitioner is detained in slavery by Collimore Pope, Fielder Pope and Nelly Jenkins; and as she is entitled to her freedom having lineally descended in the female line from a free woman, she prays that process may be awarded to compell the appearance of the said Collimore Pope Fielder Pope and Nelly Jenkins to answer her complaints &C
