William Kennedy v. Clarissa Purnell. Agreement
In this case it is admitted that the deft. has always resided & remained on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, who on her estate there, excepting that during the summer of 1835 or 1836 she visited Virginia, where she had relatives & friends, & there remained at board during several months. That I. Purnell Pendleton is now on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. That the paper marked W.K. is the written permission given by him to the petitioner & referred to in his testimony. & that shortly before the institution of this suit the deft. took possession of the petitioner & has since held him.
