William H. McKenney v. Isaac Buckingham. Summons of Isaac Buckingham

 

District of Columbia, to wit:
The United States of America,
To the Marshal of the District of Columbia, Greeting:

We command that you take Summon Isaac Buckingham to appear late of Washington County, if he shall be found within the County of Washington in your said District, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, to be held for the County aforesaid, at the City of Washington, on the fourth Monday of March next, to answer unto the petition for freedom of Wm. H. McKinney filed in Court here against him

Hereof fail not, at your peril, and have you then and there this writ.

Witness W. Cranch Esquire, Chief Judge of our said Court at the City of Washington, the 21 day of December Anno Domini on thousand eight hundred and fifty two
