The Petition of Christopher Harris humbly sheweth that your Petitioner is now illegally held in bondage by one Penelope B. Alexander who claims your petitioner as his slave. That your petitioner is entitled to his freedom and prays your Honors to grant unto him the U.S. writ of subpona to said Penelope directed &c &c
