Know all men by these presents,

That we Richard B. Alexander and Frances Swann are held and firmly bound unto the President of the United States in the sum of five hundred dollars lawful money of the United States to be paid to the said, President of the United States or his successor in office or his certain attorney, executors, administrators or assigns, for the true payment whereof, we bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seal, Dated the fifteenth day of December in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty

The Condition of the above

Obligation is such, That if the above bounden Richard B. Alexander Shall deliver at the next Cirquit Court to be held for the County of Alexandria Negro Christy and her infant Child Caled Georgianna heirs, executors, or administrators, do and shall well and truly pay, or cause to be paid, unto the above named executors, administrators, or assigns, the full sum of

Then the above written obligation to be void, or else shall remain in full force.
