Cyrus complains alias Cyrus Slater complains of Enoch Bell in custody &c for[?] that [strikethrough] the said Defendant on the day of in the year with force and arms to wit with swords, clubs and staves upon the said plaintiff at Alexandra in the County aforesd. did make and assault on him & did imprison him the said plaintiff against his will without any reasonable cause and against the law of the land for for a long time to wit for one month kept & detained him, and other injuries to him then & there and against the peace of the United States, and to the damage of the said plaintiff One hundred dollars & therefore he brings suit &c
