Samuel v. James Green. Order

 

On the Petition of Negroe Samuel for leave to sue in forma pauperis for the recovery of his freedom

R. I. Taylor assigned as attorney to state and report the facts on which the Petitioner found his claim to his freedom, this day made his report, which being seen and examined by the Court and the Court being of opinion from the facts therein stated that the Petitioner ought to be permitted to bring Suit for the recovery of his freedom against James Green by whom he is held as a slave it is thereupon ordered that process be accordingly issued against the said James Green
