The United States of America to Legge & others Greeting.
Whereas Negro Daniel by his petition in writing to the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia for the County of Washington against you the said Legge & others of the District of Columbia and for sundry good causes particularly stated & set form in the said Petition you the said Legge & others and each of you are hereby commanded and Injoined from taking the said Negro Daniel from the County and that you give proper security to gurantee the compliance. Hereof you and each of you are not to fail as you will answer the contrary at your Peril. Witness William Cranch Esq Chief Judge of said Court.
