District of Columbia, to wit:
The United States of America,
To the Marshal of the District of Columbia—Greeting:

We command you that you take Alexander Tolson late of Washington County, if he shall be found within the County of Washington, in your said District, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, to be held for the County aforesaid, at the City of Washington, on the 1st Monday of May next, to answer unto Harriet Young, Wm Francis Young, Margaret Young & Sarah J Young in their petition for freedom

Hereof fail not at your peril, and have you then and there this writ.

Witness, Jas. Dunlop Esquire, Chief Justice of our said Court, at the City of Washington, the 19th day of Feb'y Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and 61
