To the Hon the Judges of the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, for Washington County.

The petition of Allis Campbell, Mary Ann Bond, John Henry Dorsey, Elizabeth Dorsey, Julia Ann Eglin, Maria Louisa Eglin, Mary Ellana Eglin, the said Elizabeth Dorsey, Julia Ann Eglin, Maria Lewisa Eglin, Mary Ellana Eglin being minors, who appear by their next friend Allis Campbell all residing in the County & District aforesaid respectfully represent that they are unjustly held in servitude by Thomas C. Magruder administrator "administrator de bonis non" of Thomas Booth deceased late of the County aforesaid. The said Negros being the property of said T. Booth at the time of his death Whereupon they pray that the same may be inquired of by your Honors and such relief granted to them as to your Honours may seem right and proper. And as in duty bound they will ever pray &c
