The United States of America,
To the Marshal of the District of Columbia, Greeting:

You are hereby commanded to summon Bridget McLaughlin if she shall be found in the County of Washington, that she be and appear in the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, at rules to be held for the County of Washington, at the City of Washington, on the first third Monday of October next, to answer the bill of complaint of the petition of freedom of Margaret Lewis for her self & children filed in Court here against and others.

Hereof fail not at your peril; and have you then and there this precept.

Witness the Hon. W. Cranch, Chief Judge of the said Court.
