The United States of America,
To the Marshal of the District of Columbia, Greeting:

You are hereby to summon Susan Armstead if she shall be found in the County of Washington, that her be and appear in the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, at rules to be held for the County of Washington, at the City of Washington, on the first fourth Monday of November next, to answer to a bill of complaint of the Petition for Freedom of Eleanora Bell by her next friend Wm Simms filed in Court here against her and others.

Hereof fail not at your peril; and have you then and there this precept.

Witness the Hon. W Cranch, Chief Judge of the said Court.
