To the Honorable the Judges of the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia for the County of Washington
The Petition of Sally Ann Robertson and of Nathaniel Robertson and Ellen Robertson, infants under 21 years of age by the said Sally Ann their mother & next friend humbly represent, that your petitioners are now held in bondage and claimed as his slaves by one Alexander Waugh That your petitioners are entitled to their freedom and therefore pray your Honors to grant unto them the United States Writ of subpoena to be directed to the said War & such other relief in the premises as your Honors may deem just & proper &c.
