Manuel Glasgow v. Washington Simmons. Summons of Washington Simmons

 

District of Columbia, to wit:
The United States of America,
To the Marshal of the District of Columbia, Greeting:

You are hereby commanded to summon Washington Simmons if he shall be found in the County of Washington, that he be and appear before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, at rules to be held for the County of Washington, in the City of Washington, on the first third Monday of October next, to answer to bill of complaint of the petition of freedom of Manuel Glasgow by William Herbert his next friend held in Court here against him and others.

Hereof, fail not at your peril; and have you then and there this precept.

Witness, W. Cranch Esquire, Chief Judge of the said Court.

Issued the 18th day of August 1845.
