The United States of America,
To the Marshal of the District of Columbia, Greeting:

You are hereby commanded to summon John R. Ratcliff if he shall be found in the County of Washington, that he be and appear in the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, at rules to be held for the County of Washington at the City of Washington, on the first fourth Monday of March next, to answer to bill of complaint of the petition of freedom of Letty Lucas filed in Court here against him and others.

Hereof fail not at your peril; and have you then and there this precept.

Witness the Hon. W. Cranch, Chief Judge of the said Court.
