Mrs Anne Gibson
William Smith duly sworn, maketh oath that the petitioners above named are in danger of being taken off and sold out of their county by Mrs Gibson who sets up a claim to the said petitioners as her slaves. That the said Mrs Gibson has offered a reward for the apprehension of the said petitioners. And he the said Smith further states that he is a subscribing witness to the deed of manumission under with the petitioners claim their freedom.
