The United States of America. To Brown and George Miller Greeting.

Whereas Cordelia Wilson a black woman hath this day filed in this Circuit Court of the District of Columbia for the County of Washington her petition for freedom against the said Brown And for sundry good Causes particularly stated & set forth in the said petition you the said Brown and you the said George Miller your agents and servants are hereby Commanded Injoined and prohibited from taking and carrying away the said Cordelia out of the County of Washington or removing her out of the jurisdiction of the said Court until the further Order of the Court in the premises.

Hereof you are not to fail or you will answer the Contrary [illegible]
