John & Serena v. Henry Moscross. Petitioners' Bill of Exceptions

 

That Upon the above evidence The Petitioners Counsel moved the Court to instruct the Jury, that by the Bill of sale above mentioned, no right to the children of the said Nancy, born during the said term of servitude was conveyed to the said Moscross as slaves for life. But The Court refused to give the said instruction to the Jury to which op refusal the Petitioners by their Counsel except & pray the Court to sign this their bill of exceptions, which is done accordingly. June 17th 1814.
