District of Columbia to wit

The United States of America to the Marshal of the District of Columbia Greeting

You are hereby commanded to summon Mary Young if she shall be found within the County of Washington in your said District (that all excuses and delays set aside) she be and appear before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia to be held in and for the County aforesaid at the City of Washington on the fourth Monday of December next to answer the Petition of George Davis for his freedom, in the said court exhibited against her

Hereof fail not at your peril and have you then and there this writ. Witness The Honorable William Cranch Esq. Chief Judge of the said Court the thirtieth day of June 1809.

Issued this 15th day of August 1809.
