Whereupon And then the Petr's council prayed the Court to enter the said instruction by adding hereto as follows.
But if the Jury believe that the Petr. by being so sent back to work in Virginia remained there a year & gained a residence there, then the again bringing him afterwards into Maryland and then if found the Jury entitles him to his freedom which instruction as prayed by the Petr's which instruction as prayed by sd counsel the court refused.
